Coping During COVID-19
Things are pretty different right now, huh? Talking to family and friends through FaceTime and Zoom isn’t quite the same. Completing school work online, waving at teachers parading past your house is all kind of…weird. You may have mixed feelings…like nervous, frustrated, lonely, angry, or sad. All of these feelings are perfectly normal! It’s what you do with them that matters most. Here are a few things you can watch, read, or practice to help with all the emotions:
Practice Take 5 Breathing by using your hand to guide you through inhales and exhales.
Use the Well-Being Calendar to remind you to choose something positive everyday!
Write or draw about your feelings using these Journaling Prompts and Feelings Coloring Sheet.
Document this time of your life with the 2020 COVID-19 Time Capsule so you can look back and remember all you did.
Vaping Information
Currently more teens use vaping devices than tradition cigarettes. There is evidence that shows vaping may lead to the use of traditional cigarettes. Tobacco companies are using tactics similar the ones they used with traditional cigarettes to get young people hooked on vaping at an early age. Make sure you get the right information about vaping!
