Common Threads Youth Empowerment Retreat

Building Communities with Individuality, Equality and Pride

Common Threads is an annual weekend retreat for high school students that offers workshops on current adolescent issues in a safe and fun-filled atmosphere. The retreat aims to empower youth by creating a sense of community and an awareness of how to create positive change in areas such as diversity, health, personal safety, political advocacy, and discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

The 12th Annual Common Threads Youth Empowerment Retreat

Common Threads 2010 will once again be held at Stony Point Center the weekend before Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The three-day retreat will take place from approximately 5pm on Friday until 3pm on Sunday.
